Fees and Rebates
Seeking therapy is an investment in your well-being. The information below outlines current fees, Medicare rebates, and funding options available through Wisdom Psychotherapy.
Session Fees
Individual therapy for adults 16+
Standard Consultation (50-60 min) — $195
After-Hours (after 5pm) — $210
Couples Therapy (60 min) — $220*
Medicare rebates are not available for couples therapy.
Fees are payable on the day.
For TAC, WorkSafe, Open Arms, NDIS and other third-party funders, fees are charged in accordance with the relevant funding agreement.
Medicare Rebates
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) and registered Medicare provider.
With a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) and referral from your GP or psychiatrist, you may be eligible for a rebate.
Current Medicare rebate: $89.50+ per session
Rebates are deposited directly into your nominated bank account after payment. Rebate amounts are set by Medicare and may change.
Private Health Insurance
Some funds provide rebates for counselling by Accredited Mental Health Social Workers. Please check directly with your insurer for your cover level and eligibility.
Third-Party Funding
I accept approved funding including:
Transport Accident Commission (TAC)
WorkSafe Victoria
Open Arms (Bupa)
Victims of Crime / Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)
NDIS (self-managed and plan-managed)

Telehealth
Secure video sessions are available Australia-wide. Many Medicare, TAC, WorkSafe, Open Arms, and privately funded clients can access Telehealth.
Cancellation Policy
I understand life happens, and I appreciate as much notice as possible.
24 to 48 hours notice: 50% session fee may apply
Less than 24 hours notice: full session fee may apply
Cancellation fees cannot be claimed through Medicare or third-party funders.
